If you would like us to collect the email addresses for future list creation we can do that for you. We would also get a copy each time someone downloads your brochure. We hold the download confirmation emails. The cost is $75 to $150 per month depending on your volume. This does not include creating any lists for you, but gives us the ability to do so upon request at the applicable charges.
In addition to asking people for their name and email address when signing-in to get your QuickBrochure, you may want more information, such as their address or phone number. We can add up to 7 fields to the form. The cost to add up to 7 fields is $45 We know people are hesitant to volunteer more information due to the junk mail world. We always include a disclaimer that we (QuickBrochures and you) will never sell or give the information to anyone else - we mean it and expect you do also. Removal of sign-in

Have you been waiting for the opportunity to find a way to get started in email promoting? We understand. We will help you with all or part of constructing a single e-mail promotion, or an on-going campaign, or a periodic program of different offers. Those e-mail addresses of valid prospects from your downloads and other sources can be made into promotional mailing lists for you to send follow-up e-mails, special offers and promotions any time.How to begin using all the addresses QuickBrochures has produced for you: If you know what you want to promote, and you have your email list of names in a single column .xls (Microsoft Excel) spreadsheet, see the table for PROMOTIONAL MAILING SERVICE below. We'd send to everyone on your list. You'd send us the text of your message and your mailing addresses in .xls document as an email attachment. If you are confused or don't fit into the the criteria above, There are some "what ifs" to choose from along with information to help you understand what it takes to do a mailing. If you don't know what to promote or how to write the letter, we can help you. We can give you ideas for the promotion and rough out the letter once you have decided on the finer points of your offer. If you don't know what a mailing list is, read the following: WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT LISTS: To make an emailing the way we do it (and is most commonly accepted), all of your email addresses have to get out of their mailboxes and into an .xls -Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet. This becomes your MAILING LIST - a single column of addresses. This is your first step. We do not extract the addresses out of your mailboxes, unless we collect copies of your downloads (see email collection) If you don't have your QuickBrochures email addresses already in an .xls worksheet, we can CONVERT your mail into an .xls list for you. If you have all your mail in either 1. a Eudora mailbox, 2. An outlook Express mailbox, or 3. Outlook, then you'd just send us the whole mailbox and we would do LIST CONVERSION. We can discuss other types of mailboxes that can be accepted as well. If you have your QuickBrochures email addresses in any kind of TEXT
LIST (one entry on each line) , such as Microsoft Word, Word Perfect,
Notepad, or Microsoft Works, we can convert it into a usable mail list.
If you have your other email addresses in any kind of TEXT LIST SEE ADDING TO THE LIST BELOW CLEANING BEFORE MAILING: If you have an .xls document already with all your emails just dumped into it, you may have duplicates and clearly false email addresses, you might want us to just clean your addresses. (You don't want to send 2 copies of your letter to the same person) SEE: CLEANING CLEANING AFTER MAILING: Call for details for removal of undeliverable mail in your list. If you are getting FORMS that include email addresses in the text/message but not in the "who/sender", these are not included in our program. Extracting addresses from the message body of any email is not included. (Your QuickBrochures responses are forms, but do show you the email address in the "who/sender")
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT EMAILINGS: When my prospects get the letter who does the mailing come from? It looks to the recipient like it comes from you, but we will send it out on your behalf. What is undeliverable mail? It is mail returned from the e-mail host to the sender. There are many reasons for undeliverable mail. Those reasons may include addresses from computers in a workplace that will not accept personal mail, or then leaving their job; just plain mistakes in the way users entered their e-mail address; people changing their e-mail provider after they have sent you their address; company firewalls and other reasons, such as a few people who prefer to be anonymous may have given you a false return address. What is "Opt-In/Opt-Out? This phrase is used in emailings to refer to giving the recipient an opportunity- or the option (Opt) to continue to get mail from you, or to be removed from your list. Each mailing needs a Opt/out statement in order to avoid being considered SPAM. Can I send attachments with my promotional emailing - like photos or documents? Yes, but we highly recommend NOT TO DO IT. People are so skeptical of a virus in any attachment, many get put in the trash or deleted before even opening the email itself.
E-mail messages are custom written for you. All messages, including newsletter notifications are text; we do not use formatted html (ask us why), but that doesn't mean it has to look boring!
QuickBrochures is primarily designed to make a dowloadable brochure from your existing print brochure. We are not focused on editing, changing or making brochures, but we will accommodate our clients whenever possible. Here are three possibilities that may occur: 1. On inception, minor changes to a new incoming brochure being made into a QuickBrochure (not for any other use) would be charged at $30/hour with a $30 minimum- if they are do-able, (Background paper color, extent of the changes, and spacing in the brochure are a few of the factors) plus the applicable setup charge. 2. If you have an existing QuickBrochure and want to make a MINOR TEXT CHANGE (if possible), you would be charged $30/hour for the changes plus new setup charges. (This is because we have to go into your entire QuickBrochures file, change it and and replace the changed pages) examples:new phone number, new address, new email address. 3. You have an updated photo. In some cases we can replace the exact size photo. It depends on your layout, background and the image itself. The minimum cost is $50- hourly charges apply.
What if I change my brochure? If you have your printed brochure
or rate sheet remade or edited (reprinted) for any reason and
want the new version to replace your existing QuickBrochure, NEW SETUP
CHARGES apply based on the size of your brochure's paper and the number
of sheets. We would need your newly printed brochure or the printers proof sheet or the designer's Quark file to make into your new QuickBrochure. For rate sheets, we will accept a Microsoft Word document if the margins ar at minimum .5inches all around and no text smaller than size 8.
How about sending an invitation to subscribe to your electronic newsletter? We can create the text newsletter based on information from you, ask for an opt-out/opt-in replies, and send the newsletters. 1. Make your newsletter a QuickBrochuresNewsletter with a special mailing to link to it! (see One below) 2. Make an "all text" version newsletter and e-mail it. (See Two below) 1.Just like your brochure, you can have your newsletter available on your web site. Usually a newsletter is only fresh for about a month - up to 3 months if quarterly news is provided. QuickBrochuresNewsletterservice will take your printed newsletter and create a downloadable Acrobat and Word version for you. As it is anticipated to be up for only a short time, and NO e-mail confirmations are set to you, only a setup charge applies each time you want us to publish a new newsletter. It works like this: You get a NEWSLETTER BUTTON for your web site, similar to your QuickBrochures button. Visitors to your site can get your newsletter right from your site, BUT, we email everyone on your list* with a link to your newsletter embedded in the email so that they simply click on the link and go to your newsletter download page. We can use a newsletter you have had printed or create a newsletter for you. Total cost is subject to the amount of text in your newsletter and the number mailings. Call us.
QuickBrochuresNewsletter does not include e-mail confirmations so no monthly charges apply.. If you want e-mail confirmations, e-mail us about combining the benefits of QuickBrochures and QuickBrochuresNewsletter. As a subscriber to QuickBrochures, you most likely would have obtained the e-mail addresses of newsletter recipients already either from QuickBrochures or other resources. 2. An all text version of your newsletter sent as an e-mail may appeal to you more. We would get your newsletter and convert it into plain text (not really so plain) without any graphics. We would be able to mail it to your list* for you. Total cost is subject to the amount of text in your newsletter and the number mailings. * List as defined in emailing section above.
A mailbox full of email addresses is not a list and is not useful for major mailings. The addresses must come out of the mailboxes and into a single column .xls spreadsheet. If you don't know how to achieve this, we can help you, see CONVERSIONS above There are several kinds of lists to consider for any mailing: 1. YOUR QUICKBROCHURES LIST is the names received only from downloading QuickBrochures 2. YOUR LIST is any list of names other than those who are on the QuickBrochures list 3. COMBINED MASTER LIST is the integration of your QuickBrochures list and your list as identified above 4. CLEANED COMBINED MASTER LIST is a master list as identified above that has been mailed to, and bad addresses have been removed. We do not keep copies of the names or email addresses of people who download your QuickBrochure. It is your responsibility to retain the confirmations. On occassion, we will monitor your activity to test the system.
